# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • If you thought jelly cups were only for kids, wait until you try these zesty, utterly photogenic treats at your next party.
  • They’re remarkably easy, prepping ahead lets you relax when guests arrive, and the combination of lemon and gummy bears is pure summer joy.
02 -
  • Never try to speed up setting by putting the cups in the freezer— the texture goes rubbery and the gummy bears get cloudy.
  • Let the mixture cool a little before pouring, or the bears can start to melt and lose their shape.
03 -
  • Always dissolve gelatin completely before pouring—it’s the key to clear, smooth jelly.
  • Try zesting the lemon right over the pan to catch the aromatic oils as they fall.
